The Persistence of Memory

This book is looking for its first readers.

Parquet Publishing House is seeking beta readers for an upcoming literary novel. When the protagonist returns home after a break-in to find his apartment undisturbed — but a voicemail deleted — the dread that follows is quiet, sourceless, and total.

The novel is approximately 67,000 words. It is a quiet book. It asks its reader to pay attention.

If you have read and loved The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, or the New York Trilogy by Paul Auster, this book was written for that part of you.

We are asking for written feedback within four weeks of receiving the manuscript.
